               FLY ME TO THE MOON　　
      这首歌原本叫作 "In other words" ，1954年巴特·霍华德（Bart Howard）作。
　　巴特·霍华德是美国著名的作词家、作曲家、钢琴家。In other words原本是首华尔兹舞曲，也是他最有名的一首作品。最初这首歌由他当时工作的酒店的驻店歌手Felicia Sanders演唱。随后一位出版商建议将其改名为Take Me to the Moon，巴特·霍华德采纳了他的意见，并最后将这首歌定名为我们今天看到的Fly Me to the Moon，然后由佩姬·李(Peggy Lee)1960年演唱的版本成名。所以我们在很多地方也可以看到这首歌被写成Fly Me to the Moon(In Other Words)。1962年由Joe Hannel 改编而变得家喻户晓，Patty Page的演唱又将此曲提升至经典之作的境界。这首歌曾被多丽丝·黛、朱迪·贾兰等好莱坞女星演唱，而弗兰克·辛纳塔(Frank Sinatra)的翻唱更是让这首歌的名声达到了一个无法形容的地步。
　　美国宇航局曾把弗兰克·辛纳塔演唱的这首歌的唱片，通过阿波罗飞船送上月球，使得Fly Me to the Moon成为第一首在月球上播放的人类歌曲。在secondhandsongs.com里，我们可以大致看到这个歌的一个不完全翻唱列表。写了这首歌以后，基本上巴特·霍华德老爷子也就再没有什么事情好做了，这首歌给他带来了巨大的收入，按照AMG的说法就是他顺利进入了半退休的状态。并且最后在1999年还被列入了音乐创作名人堂。90年代的时候老爷子还说，如果当时他没有决定把歌名改为Fly me to the moon，他不知道现在会过着什么样的生活。
　　巴特·霍华德于2004年2月21日死于中风，享年83岁。他的同性爱人Thomas Fowler陪伴他58年，一直到他生命完结的那一刻！
　　动画大片《带我去月球》的片头、好莱坞影片《太空牛仔》的片尾以及庵野秀明监制的动画《新世纪福音战士》(简称EVA)的片尾曲以及SEGA游戏《猎天使魔女》序章均是使用这首曲子.
